I
was sitting at home playing around with Lightwave and the phone
rang, it was Alan Marques he asked what I was upto,"Not a lot"
I replied, "would you like to help us out with Lost In Space?",
I was so shocked all I could think was that my car needed picking
up from the garage so I said "can I give you a call, after
picking my car up.". "No Problem", Alan said. So
I picked my car up went for a drive down to the broads (A Norfolk
phenomenon), about 20 minutes after the initial call I called back
and said "Yes", we then arranged to meet at Shepperton
a couple of days later, and the next week I went back down and started
work on Lost In Space. So you never know what the day may bring...
within a week I was working on a major feature film... I was there
for about 8 weeks working on the opening sequence, although I wasn't
there that long it was good fun and made some good friends during
that time... When I watch the film now it's hard to pick out what
bits I did and didn't do.
